Great to meet you!

With over 16 years of nursing experience — and 9 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner — I’ve supported clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and personality disorders (with good insight). My practice focuses on safe, thoughtful, collaborative medication management. I offer brief therapy when appropriate, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy and solutions focused therapy.

Outside of my clinical work, I value time with my daughters and loved ones. I enjoy reading and being outdoors—hiking, and occasionally falling off my mountain bike. I’m naturally drawn to continual learning, whether through psychiatry, art, or new experiences. Travel has been a meaningful outlet for that curiosity, especially exploring different cultures through their food and wines.

My approach to therapy

Patient-centered care is the cornerstone of my work. I often describe treatment like a road trip: you’re in the driver’s seat with a destination in mind. I’m in the passenger seat (requesting snacks and DJ privileges), with a roadmap and helping you navigate options. You set the pace and direction — I’m here to support the journey.

What you can expect from me

Ideally you'll leave each session with greater clarity about your mental health and goals, a collaborative treatment plan that likely includes therapy and/or medication management, and practical tools you can use right away. My goal is for you to feel supported, understood and hopeful that we will work together to achieve not only relief but stability.
