Great to meet you!

If your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behavior challenges, ADHD, autism, or social skills, you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Parenting can feel overwhelming when you’ve tried everything and still see your child struggling.

As a wife, mother of three, autism mom, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor, I bring both personal insight and 15+ years of professional experience supporting children and families. I understand that every child and family has a unique story, and I approach therapy by looking beyond behaviors to understand the emotions, experiences, and needs underneath.

I help children develop emotional regulation, confidence, coping skills, and healthier ways to express themselves while partnering with families to strengthen relationships and create meaningful change across home, school, and other environments.

My approach to therapy

With a child-centered and family-focused approach, I provide therapy that meets each child where they are. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy when clinically appropriate. Sessions may include individual child sessions, parent support sessions, or joint parent-child sessions.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know your child and family, understand what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals for support. I’ll ask questions about your child’s strengths, challenges, relationships, experiences, and developmental history to gain a deeper understanding of their unique needs. We’ll also discuss relevant family history, medical and mental health background, school experiences, and any concerns that may be impacting your child’s emotional and behavioral well-being.

For children, therapy may include play-based activities, conversation, and age-appropriate activities designed to help them feel comfortable and begin expressing themselves. Parents and caregivers are an important part of the process, and we’ll work together to identify strategies that support your child’s growth and strengthen your family.
