Great to meet you!

I delight in encouraging people to become their best selves, to overcome obstacles, to pursue their dreams. I have had the opportunity to experience that delight through my faith,my relationships with family and friends, and throughout 35 years of experience in almost every role imaginable in the education setting. As a lifelong learner, I have had a passion for studying people: their mannerisms, habits, reactions, actions, and words--I believe that this attention to detail regarding human interactions is what inspires me with the desire to work as a counselor. It is an honor to walk alongside those who are seeking to improve their current situations, whatever they may be.

I do not limit the scope of my practice to a particular group of people but women's issues, for women of all ages, are an area of deep concern for me.

My approach to therapy

The individuals with whom I work determine my approach to therapy. We all have unique challenges, personalities, and experiences which cannot be addressed with a pre-planned approach. Clients are encouraged to tell their own stories in an environment that provides acceptance and hope so they can move forward as they grow through their challenges.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave our sessions together feeling encouraged, heard, hopeful...and with a practical plan for a better tomorrow.
