Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Arizona with nearly 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating some of life's more difficult chapters — anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and everything in between. One thing that sets my practice apart: I'm fully fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), which means I can provide mental health care in a Deaf client's first language — not just accommodate them, but genuinely meet them there. All of my sessions are via telehealth, which means I can work with you from anywhere in Arizona. I accept insurance, because I believe access to quality mental health care shouldn't depend on your financial situation.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with empathy — real, genuine listening before any strategies, tools, or frameworks. Once we've established that foundation, I work from a solution-focused model, which means we spend time understanding what's getting in your way, but we don't stay there. We move forward. Together, we figure out what's realistic, what's sustainable, and what actually fits your life. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Whether you're working through trauma, trying to communicate better with a partner, managing the weight of depression, or just trying to feel like yourself again — the work we do will be built around you, not around a protocol. I also bring a strengths-based lens to everything I do. I'm looking for what you already have, not only what's missing.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation, not an intake form disguised as one. Our first session is about you helping me understand what's brought you here and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I'll ask questions, listen closely, and start to get a sense of what would be most helpful for you moving forward. There's no pressure to have it all figured out or know exactly what kind of support you need — that's what we figure out together. By the end of our first session, you should have a sense of whether working together feels right. No commitment required beyond showing up and being honest about where you are.
