Great to meet you!

I received my Master of Social Work Degree from SUNY Stony Brook University where I followed a Families, Youth, and Transitions to Adulthood specialization. I can be best described as a kind and empathic psychotherapist with an extensive clinical background working children, adolescents, young adults/individual adults, and families from culturally diverse backgrounds experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting issues, family conflicts, and self-esteem concerns. I also have prior clinical experience with geriatrics and school social work which supports my ability to relate to an array of individual and family-based systems.

My approach to therapy

I ground my work in utilizing evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I hold an advanced certification in food, nutrition, and health which can be a supportive tool to meet social-emotional well-being in addition to treatment goal planning so that you are feeling like and becoming your most healthiest self, mentally and physically!

What you can expect from me

Our first session will kick off with introductions where you can share your background and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. We will figure this out as a team! My goal is to establish a safe and inviting space where you feel genuinely comfortable opening up and being yourself without judgment. Moving forward, we'll collaborate session by session to turn those aspirations you have into tangible results for your everyday life.
