Great to meet you!

My name is Kayla and I am a LPC. My background is in school counseling and clinical mental health. I've been practicing for the past 7 years. I focus on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship encompassing openness and trust. I treat those struggling with depression, anxiety/phobias, eating disorders, OCD, stress, self-esteem, identity, cognitive distortions, self-worth, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, motivation, emotional regulation, communication and interpersonal skills.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and client centered. I am a supportive, active listener challenging and guiding clients to create an abundant life worth living. I create a safe space where together clients and I dive deep addressing root causes of issues. I assist clients in acquiring tools to cope with life's challenges in order to build healthier strategies for life long healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, valued, and improve overall self-worth. My clients learn about who they were and why, who they are now, and who they want to be moving forward. I explore life experiences, beliefs about oneself, and any trauma that has played a role in a client's life. Clients are challenged to do the work to heal but know they aren't alone throughout the process.
