Great to meet you!

I always say that everyone could use a counselor at some point in their life because life is just hard. Life transitions at any age can be stressful, overwhelming and even paralyzing. We can experience a lot of anxiety, depression, anticipatory grief, loneliness, grief, loss, and a sense of losing oneself. I want to help people improve their lives with whatever they are going through.

As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with an MSW, I specialize in areas such as anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum support, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. Additionally, I have experience with divorce issues, oncology psychology, and healthcare worker stress.

My approach to therapy

I do this by starting where the client is and often utilizing strengths-based practice and positive psychology along with other strategies, as each person is unique. Your specific need determines the services provided in a session, such as learning coping skills, new parenting techniques, changing behaviors, or just talking to someone without fear of judgment or others hearing about it. I work with individuals ages 10 and up, as well as with couples and families.

What you can expect from me

My overall goals are for clients to grow in self-love, overcome negative feelings/emotions, and strengthen their relationships with those they care about.
