Great to meet you!

If you're living with a chronic illness, managing anxiety or depression, or carrying grief that doesn't fit neatly into words, you're exactly who I work with. For the past five years, I've been a renal social worker in dialysis clinics, supporting adults adjusting to life with kidney disease and everything that comes with it. That work changed how I think about loss. Grief isn't always about death. It can be the loss of independence, a change in your health, or the version of yourself you used to be.

I work with adults throughout Florida on depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, grief, and the emotional weight of chronic illness.

My approach to therapy

My approach draws on CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques. But the short version: I'm warm, real, and collaborative, with some humor mixed in. I meet you where you are. Therapy with me is a space to think out loud, be honest about what's hard, and figure out what you actually want next.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. I'll ask what brought you in, a bit of your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to have it all figured out or share more than feels comfortable. It's also your chance to ask me anything and see if we're a good fit. We'll wrap up by talking through what next steps might look like.
