Great to meet you!

Kayla believes that the foundation of effective therapy is rooted in the therapeutic alliance developed between client and clinician. She approaches each session with authenticity, strength, and empathy to foster a supportive and safe environment conducive to growth and healing. Kayla is committed to meeting clients where they are, assisting them in identifying and strengthening their internal resources to promote resilience and empowerment in managing challenges both within and outside of therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on creating an environment where safety and trust form the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to empower clients through knowledge and empathy, encouraging them to step beyond their comfort zones to gain a holistic understanding of themselves and their experiences, which can illuminate a path toward healing. I draw upon an integrative framework of evidence-based modalities and theoretical approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

What you can expect from me

In the initial session, I focus on educating clients about what they can expect from the therapeutic process. I encourage open dialogue and invite clients to ask questions about my background and therapeutic approach to foster transparency and build trust. My hope is that this collaborative exchange helps clients feel more comfortable sharing their experiences and the concerns that bring them to therapy.
