Dr. Kayla Roecker

I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Kansas. I provide medication management and individual therapy. After years working in a busy community health setting, I made the move to private practice to allow for more patient centered time. I value delivering care that is patient centered which may include medication or therapy or both. Healing looks different for everyone, and I'm committed to building a plan that fits your life. Whether you're managing a long-standing condition or stepping into mental health care for the first time, I'll meet you where you are.

My approach combines therapy and/or medication management. I am a prepared clinician in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and have received training through Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). This technique is a mind body evidenced based therapy and used in a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance disorders, and eating disorders.

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I'll ask about your medical history, family history, mental health history, and review any previous treatment. We will focus on your goals in treatment and develop a treatment plan together.
