Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and also offer telehealth sessions in South Carolina. As a therapist, I strive to be authentic in sessions and create an inviting space for us to connect. It's important to me that you feel heard, seen, and celebrated in our work together.
Therapy with every person looks different. I focus on the societal factors and conditioning that led to your current experiences, coming from a feminist approach to therapy. I view each individual as unique, complex, and as a whole person versus a set of symptoms. Other approaches I commonly use in therapy include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy.
Effective therapy is designed to help empower you and build resilience to life's ups and downs. My goal after each session is that you feel heard, seen, understood, and supported.
