Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist with six years of experience working with children and adolescents in clinical settings. I have spent these years working closely with children and teens who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, and depressive disorders. I prioritize building genuine connections so clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported, while helping them develop skills that improve their everyday functioning and overall quality of life. When working with children, I incorporate play therapy and sand tray techniques in a way that feels natural and engaging.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, intuitive, and highly individualized approach to working with clients, focusing on building a strong, trusting relationship as the foundation for growth. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered style, helping clients feel understood while also developing practical tools to manage emotions, improve behavior, and navigate daily challenges. My work often incorporates psychotherapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy, allowing me to meet children and adolescents in ways that feel natural and engaging. I specialize in supporting clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and social difficulties, and I collaborate closely with families to ensure progress carries over into everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to feel welcoming, supportive, and pressure-free. I understand that reaching out and booking that first appointment is often the hardest step, and I truly respect how much it takes to get there. My goal is to create a safe, accepting space where clients can begin at their own pace, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We’ll start by getting to know each other and understanding what brings you in, in a way that feels comfortable and natural.
