Great to meet you!

Therapy works best when it is a collaborative, grounded partnership. As a counselor with WellConnect Counseling, supervised by Dr. Deborah Ontiveros, my goal is to walk alongside you, help you navigate life’s heaviest challenges, and work together to build practical avenues for long-term success. A significant focus of the practice is serving first responders, military personnel, veterans, and their families. Coming from a family of first responders myself, I bring a personal understanding of the unique culture, operational stress, and relational demands that come with service. Whether you are a first responder needing a space where you don't have to explain the job, or an individual from any walk of life looking to regain control and build a clearer path ahead, you can expect an authentic, focused environment tailored to your growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is direct and clear—warm and compassionate, yet straightforward enough to help you cut through the noise and get real results. I bring experience from both psychiatric facilities and specialized crisis environments, allowing me to tailor care to your specific history, strengths, and goals. We won't just talk about the problems; we will actively map out actionable ways forward.

What you can expect from me

  • We’ll start by reviewing initial paperwork, administrative details, and confidentiality boundaries so you have full clarity on your rights and privacy from day one. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the primary challenges you are navigating right now, and what you hope to achieve through our work together.
