Great to meet you!

With over 13 years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor, I am deeply informed on a wide range of mental health challenges and their impacts on the human experience. I earned my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Albany in New York in 2012 and specialize in providing CBT to adults up to age 65. My goal is to provide you with a warm, safe environment to feel heard and supported with what you're here to work on. I'm so glad you're here!

My approach to therapy

I offer a warm, safe environment, with a highly collaborative approach so that your voice is integrated deeply throughout the entire therapy process. I provide evidence-based therapy for adults, implementing interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to name a few. I deeply value the quality of my relationships with my clients, to foster trust, safety, and deep understanding, so I aim to nurture our relationship from our first session to our last.

What you can expect from me

Together, we'll explore your current struggles, past challenges, strengths, and will identify specific goals you'd like to work throughout our time together, so that you get the most out of this experience. In addition to offering traditional talk therapy, I will also support your progress over time using a variety of evidence-based methods and tools tailored to your unique needs and wants. My goal is to bring my authentic self into our work together, so that you feel comfortable and safe to meet me there in your truest form as well.
