Great to meet you!

I am a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 4 years of mental health counseling experience.

My areas of focus have been working with individuals diagnosed with OCD, ADHD, Anxiety PTSD and Depression. I also have significant experience working with the perinatal population (mothers and fathers) as well as parents looking to navigate parenting stressors or struggles. I also enjoy working with individuals on boundary setting and self-advocacy.

My approach to therapy

I do not believe one specific type of therapy treats all ailments, therefore, I utilize an integrative and evidence based approach. I do this by tailoring treatment to your individualized needs and comfort. We will also work on identifying attainable goals that you would like to focus on during our sessions.

For OCD treatment, there is a gold standard treatment of ERP. However, if this modality does not work well for you, I also incorporate I-CBT and ACT into our sessions.

What you can expect from me

I firmly believe that much success in therapy depends on the client-therapist relationship. Thus, my ultimate goal is to make sure that my clients feel comfortable and safe as well as supported. It is also my goal for clients to improve their overall quality of life, gain healthier coping skills, identify triggers, and learn how to utilize these skills when triggered. I will also work with you to set realistic and attainable goals so we can measure your progression over the course of therapy.
