Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should feel collaborative, comfortable, and judgment-free. I know reaching out for help isn’t always easy, and my goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My approach is down-to-earth and individualized. I take the time to listen, understand what you’re experiencing, and work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. I don’t believe medication is the answer to everything, but when it may be helpful, we’ll talk openly about your options so you can make an informed decision about your care.

Most importantly, I want you to feel heard—not rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis. Mental health treatment is a partnership, and I’ll be in your corner as we figure out what works best for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and centered around you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis. I believe the best treatment starts with listening and understanding what you’re experiencing, what matters to you, and what you hope to get out of treatment.

Together, we’ll discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and treatment preferences to create a plan that feels realistic and manageable. When medication is appropriate, I’ll explain the options, potential benefits, and possible side effects so we can make decisions together. I believe in using medication thoughtfully rather than simply adding more medications when something isn’t working.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and being an active participant in your care. Treatment may evolve over time, and we’ll continue to reassess what’s working and make adjustments together.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and what you hope to achieve through treatment.

I want you to feel comfortable sharing openly, so the appointment will feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. We’ll discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options, including medication when appropriate, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions or voice concerns.

You won’t be pressured into a treatment plan. We’ll make decisions together and develop a plan that feels comfortable, realistic, and tailored to you.
