Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Kaylan and I fully believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff, intimidating, or like you’re sitting across from someone waiting to analyze you. With an A.S. in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I bring 3+ years of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and emotional regulation. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, young adults navigating life transitions, teens, and the geriatric population. I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma treatment, along with CBT, DBT, SFT, ACT, IFS, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and occasionally even fun—while still doing the meaningful work of creating lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I bring a playful, professional, and bold approach to therapy—creating a space where you can be honest, laugh when you need to, and tackle the hard stuff without judgment. I believe real growth happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself and supported enough to challenge what’s no longer working.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and exchange important information about your history, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll work together to better understand your needs, identify your goals, and discuss what you hope to gain from treatment. From there, we’ll begin developing a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs, strengths, and goals—because therapy should be tailored to you, not the other way around.
