Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kaylee, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who helps adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other challenges while building confidence, balance, and emotional well-being. With a background in medical social work, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to supporting individuals and families through difficult and uncertain moments. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with difficult emotions, adjusting to change, or feeling stuck, therapy offers a safe, judgment-free space to feel heard. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. Together, we'll explore your thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward meaningful growth at a pace that feels right for you. You don't need to have everything figured out to begin. Reaching out is the first step, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone—I'm here to support and empower you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around each individual's unique needs and experiences. I believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and positive change.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. My approach focuses on helping individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or difficulties navigating life transitions.

I believe in meeting clients where they are and working together to develop realistic goals, healthy coping strategies, and practical tools that can be applied to everyday life. I value open communication and believe therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you gain insight, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and help you feel comfortable in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming or intimidating, so we'll take things at a pace that feels right for you. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, any challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I'll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and goals to better understand your unique needs and experiences. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for my approach to therapy. There's no pressure to share everything right away, and you don't need to have all the answers.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged as we begin working together toward positive change.
