Great to meet you!

I believe we all have resilience. Our life may not come with a map, and we experience daily challenges to traumatic events with more lasting impact. Each change affects us differently, bringing a flood of thoughts, strong emotions and uncertainty. We may end up feeling stuck or alone, struggling with anxious feelings, sadness, guilt or pain. I will meet you in these difficult places and we will walk together, helping you break through to find hope, power, connection and energy.

My approach to therapy

I will take a multifaceted approach that works for my clients and I will work to understand my clients, as well as their family structure, culture, and environment in which they grew up.

Worked as a bereavement counselor at a hospice providing care for families who lost their loved ones by physical illness, sudden death, suicide, and/or accidents.

Worked for international marriage couples, immigrant family, and Military families.

What you can expect from me

My upbringing fostered a joy for connecting with people from all cultures and a curiosity about each life. I have trained in a number of modalities, including EMDR and Mindfulness.

There may be anxiety or hesitation about what counseling is all about. I carefully approach and pay attention to create safe and secure emviroment for my clients. I understand there may be anxiety or hesitation about what counseling is all about. I utilize client-focused therapy and unconditional listening.
