Great to meet you!

As a first-generation Asian-American queer therapist of color, I adopt a collaborative and human-centric approach to therapy. I understand that there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution, so I strive to customize my methods to meet each individual's unique needs. My practice is shaped by intersectional/relational-cultural and psychodynamic perspectives, emphasizing your experiences from family history to the present day while considering your diverse identities.

My approach to therapy

Although my approach may differ from person to person, I consistently bring my authentic self into our sessions. I engage with each individual in a warm, understanding, and sincere manner. My primary objective is to cultivate trust and connection, honoring both your humanity and my own. I focus on fostering this trust and connection while embracing our shared humanness during our time together.

What you can expect from me

As a first-generation Asian- American queer therapist of color, I address the dynamics of power, oppression, marginalization, and privilege in my work.

I firmly believe that one of the greatest advantages of therapy is its ability to foster self-honesty—whether that involves addressing what is troubling you, identifying sources of pain, recognizing necessary changes, or discovering what you truly desire in life. My role as your therapist is to facilitate your journey towards greater honesty and understanding, empowering you to pursue your goals as you define them.
