Great to meet you!

I'm Kaz (she/her), a trauma-focused therapist and healing practitioner with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and over twenty years of experience working in human services. Scheduling works best by reaching out to me directly at [email protected].

My work is for those living at the borders of identity and belonging, meeting you in the in-between. My practice, Fuerza Curativa, bridges clinical therapy with spirit work, centering those who have had to be strong for too long. I walk alongside marginalized and system-impacted people navigating complex trauma, identity, grief, and burnout.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, non-pathologizing, and rooted in cultural affirmation. I bridge trauma-focused somatic therapy with spirit work, informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Buddhist Psychology, Liberation Psychology, and evidence-based modalities. We will move beyond carceral ideas of "regulation" to build an embodied relationship with your nervous system, revealing choice, agency, and freedom in how you meet life. Sessions are shaped by what you bring, moving at the pace of trust.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, honest, and affirming space where you don't have to explain your existence. My intention is deep transformation, not just symptom relief. Together, we co-create a path to help you reconnect to your body, tend to wounds, and reclaim your rhythm. Over time, our work helps you build a lasting capacity for embodiment, rest, boundaries, and joy, moving from survival to radiance.
