Great to meet you!
I'm Dr. Keara Mageras, a licensed clinical psychologist based in New York, offering remote therapy to adults working through anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and career changes — often at moments when things feel tangled or hard to make sense of alone. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, an APA-accredited program, after completing my undergraduate degree in psychology at Duke University. My training spans several of New York's leading hospital systems, including an APA-accredited internship at Zucker Hillside Hospital and a post-doctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center, where I went on to serve as a Supervising Psychologist, and I currently serve as faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, supervising and mentoring the next generation of clinical psychologists. Over the past eight years I've worked with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and at very different points in their lives. If any of this resonates, I'd be glad to hear from you — I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can talk through what you're looking for and get a feel for whether we're a good fit.
