Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have a Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA with a focus on individual therapy. I have extensive experience working in ICUs, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric centers, and private practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy accommodates your specific needs as no two people are alike. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to better understand your reality and support you toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

My communication style is open and unassuming - I listen first to ensure I have a full and accurate understanding of everything you share with me.

My approach to goal setting is making sure it is collaborative - we are better equipped to reach your goals together if we are on the same page about your needs and how you want to approach it.

Our first session together will be time spent understanding what you have been feeling recently and what motivated you to start or restart therapy. I will be asking questions to better understand you and your thoughts, feelings, and actions. From there, each session will be different depending on what your needs will be going forward. I will check in with you to see what was helpful and what was not, to make sure that each therapy session continues to benefit you.
