Great to meet you!

If you're the one everyone leans on, the friend who always shows up, the family member who holds it all together, you know how exhausting it can be to never let yourself fall apart. Underneath the competence, you might be quietly overthinking every decision, struggling to say no, or wondering why you can never quite feel like enough. For over five years I've worked with adults caught in that exact loop: anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the low hum of self-doubt that comes from putting everyone else first. I want to be the person who helps you understand why you got stuck here, and what it actually takes to build a relationship with yourself that doesn't depend on holding everything together alone.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me are warm and collaborative, but practical. I don't think you should leave an hour of therapy without something to actually do with it. We'll use CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing depending on what you need, but the through-line is always the same: naming the pattern, practicing something different, and testing it out in your real life before we meet again. Expect me to validate what you're carrying, and also to gently push back when it'll help you grow. This is a partnership. We're not just talking about what's happening, we're figuring out what's keeping the cycle going and what you can do differently starting now.

What you can expect from me

Your first session isn't a test. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's felt hard lately, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this. I'll ask about your relationships, your coping patterns, and what strengths you're already bringing, even if you can't see them yet. By the end, we'll have a rough sense of where to focus and what progress could look like for you. You don't need the perfect words going in. You don't even need to know exactly what you need. That's something we can figure out together.
