Great to meet you!

I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2023 with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in various settings throughout my time in mental health. These include an advocacy center for children and youth, a substance use treatment center for teenagers, and private practice for all ages. I now work in an urban school district supporting high behavioral needs students while seeing clients on the side.

My approach to therapy

My style balances warmth with gentle challenge, helping clients explore patterns, build insight, and move toward meaningful change. I have a strong interest in working with identity development, LGBTQIA+ experiences, chronic illness, and those navigating self-harm or suicidal thoughts. I take a systems-oriented approach, recognizing the broader contexts that shape each person’s life and, when helpful, involving caregivers or support networks in the process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will talk about what is bringing you to therapy. There will also be questions about previous therapy experiences, life events, and family history. We will work together to identify treatment goals to set-up our time together in therapy.
