Great to meet you!

Making the decision to begin therapy is a meaningful step, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. With over 18 years of experience as a school social worker, I have had the privilege of helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, family conflict, grief, trauma, life transitions, school-related stress, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing emotions. I believe every person’s story is unique, and therapy should be tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and goals. My hope is to walk alongside you as you move toward growth, healing, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, strengths-based, and practical. I strive to build a genuine, trusting relationship with each client while offering tools that can help create change in everyday life. In session, we may work on identifying emotions, understanding behavior patterns, building coping skills, improving communication, strengthening family relationships, processing grief or trauma, and developing healthier ways to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and empowered. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and equipped to create lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can share your story at your own pace. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and the goals you would like to work toward. This may include anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, family conflict, grief, trauma, school stress, low self-esteem, or a major life transition. Together, we will begin creating a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and strengths. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that we are working together toward meaningful change.
