Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Keely, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in grief, anxiety, and trauma/PTSD

My favorite part of being a therapist is having the opportunity to work with folks to empower them as they navigate the expected and unexpected challenges life throws at them.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that the client is the expert of their own life, so my approach and style really vary on what the client needs. I enjoy working collaboratively and flexibly with the patient to address needs and pace of treatment.

I am intentional in honoring diversity, lived experiences, and recognizing that there are outside events that may impact what someone is able to bring and focus on in each session whether it is changes in political climate, family dynamics, or having an unexpected setback that requires a shift on what that person needs in that moment.

What you can expect from me

My focus is to create a safe space where clients know they can be vulnerable, ugly cry, say hard things, and discuss painful events with no fear of judgment, but rather be met with a compassionate professional that is willing to walk with them through their healing.

One of my main roles as a therapist is to help my client better recognize and understand their emotions, why they are experiencing them, and how to navigate their emotions instead of their emotions controlling them.
