Great to meet you!

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin before receiving my master's degree at University of Houston's Graduate College of Social Work. I gained most of my professional experience working with codependency, addiction, and trauma at an outpatienet treatment center, and my practice focuses on working with relationship issues, burnout, and overfunctioning.

My approach to therapy

As a Level 1 IFS (Internal Family Systems) practitioner, this modality heavily informs my relational psychodynamic approach. I also incorporate DBT skills, EMDR, and self-compassion into the work to better understand how your experience have shaped you so far, and how the desired changes can be made.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, I want to understand what brought you here—whether it’s a current crisis or a quieter sense of feeling stuck. If you’re in active crisis, we’ll start by stabilizing things so you feel grounded and supported. If things feel more steady, we’ll begin with a thorough history and identify what you’d like to focus on. From there, we’ll start connecting the dots—looking at how past experiences shape the present and exploring ways to shift patterns that no longer serve you.
