Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Dr. Keiandra Vinson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of nursing experience across mental health, inpatient psychiatry, substance use treatment, and long-term care.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, chronic stress, behavioral concerns, sleep difficulties, substance use and recovery, and life transitions.
When working with children and adolescents, I recognize that mental health concerns can affect school, friendships, behavior, confidence, sleep, and family life. I partner with parents and caregivers while making sure young people feel heard and involved in their treatment.
My approach is collaborative and individualized. I take time to understand your symptoms, experiences, concerns, and goals. When medication is appropriate, I explain the options, expected benefits, potential side effects, and alternatives so you or your family can make informed decisions.
My goal is to create a welcoming space where children, teens, and adults feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and speaking openly. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and supports progress beyond the appointment.
