Great to meet you!

Hi I am Keiera, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy across Texas. I specialize in supporting adults navigating cancer diagnoses, chronic illness, caregiving stress, aging, and major life transitions. If you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, supporting a loved one through treatment, or feeling overwhelmed by unexpected life changes, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Through my work in oncology settings, private practice, and retirement communities, I’ve seen how medical stress, grief, and identity shifts can quietly reshape a person’s world. I bring a holistic, evidence-based approach that honors the connection between mind and body — helping clients feel more grounded, steady, and supported during uncertain seasons.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence and ability to hold space for both the practical and emotional layers of what they’re facing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including:

  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Strengths-based approaches
  • Person-centered therapy
  • Mindfulness-based techniques

I integrate practical coping strategies with deeper emotional processing, always honoring the mind-body connection. Whether we’re working through anxiety related to a diagnosis, caregiver exhaustion, or major life adjustments, our work will focus on helping you feel more steady, empowered, and capable of navigating what’s ahead.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially during an already overwhelming time.

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we explore:

  • What’s bringing you to therapy
  • The challenges you’re currently facing
  • Your goals and hopes for our work together

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and clearer about next steps.

Our work together is collaborative, with you at the center.
