Great to meet you!

As an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I enjoy working with youth, adolescents, young adults, couples and Families. I am experienced in aiding clients with improving relationships, communication skills, processing trauma, behavioral challenges, relationship challenges, coping skills, life transitioning, behavior management, family custody issues, blended families and a host of other mental health specialties.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in a variety of evidence-based techniques, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, and psychotherapy, to help clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors. I believe in a collaborative, holistic approach to mental health, addressing both the mind and body. Utilizing my approach, I find it important to provide a warm and non-judgmental approach with all clients and to have a collaborative approach to best achieve the desired results from therapy.

What you can expect from me

During our first session clients will be encouraged to share their reasons for coming to therapy, pertinent historical experiences and provide information to help me as their counselor to assess their situation. The first session will be used to allow clients to ask questions about my approach and how I can assist them in their journey. Together, we’ll explore challenges, explore coping strategies, and explore self-compassionate practices.
