Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling and certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor. I work with individuals experiencing high stress, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and substance use challenges. My approach is supportive and collaborative, helping clients build practical coping skills while gaining deeper insight into their experiences. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based perspective to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with clients to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier patterns in their daily lives. I also incorporate a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, creating a safe space where clients can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, women’s issues, and substance use at their own pace.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have for treatment. I also take time to gather background information to better understand your experiences and needs. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and outline a plan that feels manageable and supportive. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more comfortable with the process of therapy.
