Great to meet you!

There are moments in life that ask more of you than you knew you had. Maybe you're carrying grief that doesn't have a name yet, working through something in your family, or trying to understand why anxiety or anger keeps showing up no matter what you do. I'm Keisha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience working with children, families, seniors, and veterans. My background includes hospice care, grief support, and parenting education, which means I have sat with people through some of the hardest transitions life brings. As a Black woman, I also offer a grounded, affirming space for clients navigating cultural identity and the particular weight that can carry. Clients often describe me as warm and steady, someone who helps them feel understood before they even know how to put things into words.

My approach to therapy

Our work starts with what matters most to you right now. We will get honest about what is driving the patterns you want to change, whether that is anxiety that spikes without warning, anger that keeps getting in the way, or grief that has no clear place to go. I work well with people who want something practical alongside the space to process, somewhere that helps you understand what's happening and moves you toward what's next. If you are a woman navigating identity, family pressure, or the quiet exhaustion of holding everything together, you will find this a space where that experience is taken seriously.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. We will talk about what brought you here, what you are hoping for, and what has or hasn't worked before. There is no pressure to have it all figured out before you walk in. When you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.
