Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Keisha Ray and I am a Licensed Clinicial Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia. I have a Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice, a Master's Degree in Sociology, and am a PhD candidate in Counseling and Psychological Studies, specializing in trauma and crisis counseling.

I have over 10 years of mental health/trauma experience working with individuals who may be trying to figure life out, learn who they are, experience challenges with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and/or learning how to love themselves again.

I strongly believe you did not land on this page by accident and I would love to get to know you a little more to help you determine how my services can help you love the life you are living again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative. We are in this together. Some of the approaches I use are cognitive behavior therapy, trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic, exposure therapy, humanistic, and emotionally-focused therapy, to name a few.

What you can expect from me

I am very open-minded, warm, and encouraging and one of my goals is that I hope you walk away from each session, feeling nothing less than this. Upon our first session, we will discuss some of your challenges and any questions you may have related to therapy and/or our sessions, in general. We will then discuss your goals for therapy and what parts of your life you'd like to work on and/or improve. From those conversations, we will develop a treatment plan together and this treatment plan (which we can always change by the way!) will drive our upcoming sessions together. We will also discuss, ideally, what are your expectations of me as your therapist as I want to ensure that you 100% benefit from our time together in our sessions.

I'm so proud of you for taking this first step and I look forward to meeting you!
