Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Keith. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. I earned my Master's degree in Psychology from Loyola College and have received extensive training in Addiction Counseling, Co-Occurring Disorders, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.

I believe that effective counseling begins with meeting people where they are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I listen carefully, provide honest feedback, and work alongside my clients to identify their strengths, address obstacles, and develop solutions that support lasting growth. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and other personal challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. My professional work is also informed by my personal experiences. I am married and the father of five children, two of whom have special needs. Like many families, we have faced struggles and uncertainties along the way. These experiences have deepened my understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the resilience people demonstrate when facing difficult circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Life can be challenging, and you do not have to carry those burdens alone. A good therapist helps lighten the load while providing the support and tools needed to move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. If you are considering counseling services, I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and explore how I can help.
