Great to meet you!

You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a high-stress situation that’s hard to make sense of. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in crisis intervention, emergency services, and behavioral health systems. I’ve worked extensively with individuals and families navigating high-stress, complex situations, including trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions.

Clients often describe me as grounded, direct, and supportive. I bring both clinical expertise and real-world perspective into the room, helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and tailored to your specific needs. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, while also paying attention to patterns rooted in family systems and past experiences.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Some clients come to process deeper emotional experiences, while others want practical tools to manage stress, relationships, or decision-making—and we adjust accordingly.

I’m direct when it’s helpful, supportive when it’s needed, and always focused on helping you create meaningful, sustainable change. If things feel urgent or intense, we can focus on getting you grounded and helping you figure out your next steps.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding what brought you in and what you want to get out of therapy. We’ll talk through your current concerns, relevant history, and begin identifying clear goals.

You can expect a calm, nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. I’ll also help you start organizing what feels overwhelming and identify initial steps you can take right away.

By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction and a plan for how we’ll move forward together.
