Great to meet you!

I work with adults of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety and life transitions. As a queer woman, I understand the existing barriers around access to mental health support in queer and trans communities; I have worked with many queer and trans clients surrounding issues of trauma, identity development, self-exploration and more. Having had training in couples therapy, I also specialize in work with couples and relationships focusing on intimacy, communication and conflict management.

My approach to therapy

I am to create a therapeutic space that is inclusive and acknowledges all aspects of a person's experience. My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. I like to focus on clients' inner self and support them with deeper understanding of their and increased capacity to address them. While I rely on relational work to accomplish these goals, my practice also draws from CBT, Mindfulness, EFT and other reflective tools.

What you can expect from me

I very much focus on sense of self. Clients working with me can expect exploration of their identity, self awareness and self confidence. My goal is to be able to guide and support clients in noticing and experiencing their own capacity to make satisfying and meaningful choices for their lives, honing their skills to be in touch with their internal guide.
