Great to meet you!

I’m Keldreca Thomas, a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with experience supporting adults across a range of mental health concerns. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, burnout, mood disorders, and life transitions using an evidence based, whole person approach.

My clinical background includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support. I focus on understanding the full picture, including symptoms, stressors, lifestyle factors, and personal goals, so care is practical, individualized, and sustainable.

I believe mental health care should feel collaborative and respectful. My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care while working toward greater emotional stability, clarity, and overall well being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence based practice. I work closely with clients to understand their symptoms, history, stressors, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels practical and sustainable.

I focus on treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis. This may include medication management when appropriate, education about symptoms, and strategies that support emotional regulation, daily functioning, and long term stability. I place a strong emphasis on clear communication, shared decision making, and helping clients feel informed and empowered in their care.

I strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, reduce distress, and build tools they can use beyond our sessions to support ongoing mental and emotional well being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be thorough, supportive, and focused on understanding their concerns. I create a calm, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly share what has been going on and what they hope to improve.

During the first session, we’ll review symptoms, relevant history, current stressors, and goals for care. If medication is part of treatment, we’ll discuss options, expectations, and any questions you may have. We’ll also talk through next steps and begin outlining a plan that feels clear and manageable.

The goal of the first session is for clients to feel heard, supported, and informed, with a better understanding of their symptoms and a clear path forward.
