Great to meet you!

Welcome. I am a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), With over 20 years of experience across diverse areas of healthcare, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized mental health care. My passion lies in delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment that empowers individuals to take an active role in their healing. I am committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible, personalized, and grounded in a holistic approach to wellness

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe that supporting mental health enhances daily functioning and strengthens overall well-being. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, creating individualized treatment plans that address each person’s unique needs. Through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing support, I strive to ensure clients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their path toward healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, structured, and collaborative first session. During our initial visit, I take time to understand your current concerns, symptoms, goals, and what has helped or not in the past. We’ll review relevant mental health history, life stressors, school or work challenges, family dynamics, and any cultural or faith-based factors that are important to you.

The first session focuses on clarity and direction. Together, we identify your primary treatment goals and create an initial plan to address symptoms such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, or emotional overwhelm. If medication is appropriate, we carefully and thoughtfully discuss options. If not, we focus on practical strategies you can begin using right away.

Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more hopeful, with a clearer sense of next steps. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident that we are working toward meaningful, measurable improvement from the very beginning.
