Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Addiction Counselor and received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University. I bring over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, including working at inpatient and outpatient facilities with children, families and adults. I believe in providing a safe place for clients to explore their emotions, working collaboratively to achieve their desired goals and promote healing. I typically work with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges, and who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward.

Being a native Floridan I enjoy the outdoors, water, nature, dance, art and traveling to explore new places.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, empathy, and respect for each person's unique experiences. I meet clients where they are, honoring their individuality while helping them recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful changes that support your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. We will discuss what brings you to therapy and explore your goals. You will have the opportunity to ask questions so we can begin to identifying ways I can support your healing journey. We can work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
