Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Before becoming a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, I worked in various healthcare settings within the medical field. This background—combined with my own lived experience managing chronic illness—has shaped my passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness, coping with medical trauma, or adjusting to a new diagnosis.

In addition to health-related concerns, I specialize in working with clients navigating complex trauma, life transitions, and challenges in relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered on your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic orientation is rooted in the power of human connection. I draw from Narrative, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused therapies to support each client’s unique journey. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective approach for treating trauma and a range of life challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to understand what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. We’ll begin with an informal, conversational interview where I’ll ask questions to help me better understand your story, background, and current challenges.

This session is also a space for you to ask any questions or share any concerns about the therapy process. Together, we’ll begin to build a roadmap for your healing journey—one that feels supportive, collaborative, and aligned with your goals.
