Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. I am passionate about helping people heal from mental health symptoms. I have a masters in counseling psychology and a doctorate in clinical psychology.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in many methods, but my expertise lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I believe a good therapeutic alliance sets the stage for healing, and I will always provide an open, accepting, empathetic and non-judgmental healing environment.

What you can expect from our first session

Our therapeutic environment will be rooted in the recovery model where healing is holistic and client-driven, and an individual’s resiliency and strengths are identified and actualized for healing opportunities. Additionally, the client will learn about their cognitive processes, how their thoughts affect their behaviors and how their bodies can be affected by external environmental triggers which affect the entire cognitive-behavioral system.
