Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, Clinical Director, and Co-Founder of The Soho Center for Mental Health and Clinical Learning in New York City. I hold a B.S. in Applied Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from New York University, as well as an M.S. in Counseling, Clinical & School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

My research interests include adult attachment in marriage, family, and organizational behavior, as well as the study of race, interracial marital stress, authority, gender, and status as they relate to power and leadership within human systems and cultures. I have been practicing Group Relations Consultation since 2008.

My approach to therapy

I meet you where you are — authentically, compassionately, and without judgment. My style is warm yet challenging, open yet honest, always in service of your needs and wellbeing. I think of myself as something like a primary care physician of mental health: I work with a wide range of clients, including children (ages 5–18), adults, couples, families, groups, and organizations, with a specialty in marriage, family, and organizational counseling.

Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped your personality and the challenges that brought you to therapy — whether that's depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationship or family conflict, grief and loss, perfectionism, feelings of inadequacy, or experiences of stigma, prejudice, and marginalization. Our therapeutic relationship itself becomes the instrument of change, sharpening your awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and the roles you play in the relationships that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches — including psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused care, CBT, and EFT — tailoring my methods to what resonates best with you. Through the rapport we build together, you'll gain meaningful insight into your inner world and your patterns in relationships. These insights become catalysts for lasting, profound change — the kind that quietly transforms your life in ways both remarkable and enduring.
