Great to meet you!

The prospect of beginning therapy can be a daunting one, and you must do your best to find the right therapist with whom you will share your fears, your pain, your hopes and your dreams. To be a part of someone's therapeutic journey is an honor and a privilege. If we work together, I can assure you that I will strive to honor your process and your goals for therapy. It is my aim to cultivate relationships with my clients that are founded in trust and compassion, and are characterized by a sense of warmth and security.

By creating unique, individual treatment plans tailored to my clients' needs, I address multiple ongoing issues such as anxiety, ADHD, substance use, depression, low self-esteem, symptoms of PTSD, grief, and divorce adjustment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change in daily life.

In addition to CBT, I integrate elements from other evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy when appropriate. These approaches allow us to explore deeper patterns that may be rooted in early experiences, and to build greater emotional awareness and flexibility.

My style is structured but flexible. Some sessions may focus on skill-building and strategies for managing anxiety, mood, or stress, while others may create space for exploring relationships, values, and personal growth. My goal is to provide a supportive and goal-oriented space where clients can better understand themselves and make lasting changes.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to help you walk away with both practical tools you can use in daily life and a clearer understanding of what’s going on beneath the surface—whether it’s patterns in your thinking, emotional reactions, or relationships.

We'll work together to make sense of what you're experiencing and find ways to move through it with more clarity and self-compassion. Over time, many clients feel more grounded, more in control of their responses, and more connected to who they really are and what matters most to them.

Therapy with me is a mix of structure and flexibility—sometimes we’ll focus on specific skills or strategies, and other times we’ll slow down and explore deeper themes that might be shaping your current challenges. Wherever you are in your journey, you won’t have to figure it out alone.
