Great to meet you!

My name is Kelley McCahill and I am a Counselor. I work with adults in the state of Georgia through Headway. My practice is entirely virtual, to make therapy more accessible in this hectic, busy world. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Certified Addictions Counselor. I have 17 years of experience helping people change patterns that no longer serve them. I enjoy collaborating with humans who struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or addiction issues. Mental, physical, and spiritual recovery are possible, together. I am irreverent, open, and humorous in my approach. I respect my clients’ autonomy, and genuinely believe they have the answers, but might need the right tools.

My approach to therapy

I am LGBTQ affirming and trauma informed. I believe that the wonders of the world are a vital part of who we are and our recovery. I am a bonified nerd, with allegiances to multiple fandoms. I invite your fandoms to be a part of your recovery journey. I am also a Book Dragon with too many references to share here, and not enough space in my bookcase. I am open minded and teachable.

What you can expect from me

If you are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, or not yourself I would love to begin this recovery journey with you. I don’t know all the answers, but I will ask the questions that help you find yours.
