Great to meet you!
I have worked in the helping professions for more than 20 years, and in therapy specifically for the past eight. I genuinely enjoy people — their stories, their resilience, and the ways they grow when given the space to be fully seen. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help; I’ve struggled with that myself at times. But every time I did, I learned something essential that helped me move forward, and I bring that same compassion and humility into my work with clients.
My career has included supporting marginalized communities, individuals with serious mental illness, and people navigating the criminal justice system. For the past 13 years, I’ve primarily worked with veterans and the profound trauma many experienced during recent conflicts. My work with female veterans has been especially meaningful and rewarding.
I believe every person has a purpose, even if trauma, survival strategies, or life circumstances have buried it. Therapy is an opportunity to uncover that purpose, reconnect with your strengths, and begin writing a new chapter — one where you are in charge of your story and no longer defined by the pain you’ve carried. provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can slow down and explore the patterns of emotion and behavior that shape their lives. I believe people often fall into negative cycles not because they’re broken, but because those patterns once helped them cope. In our work together, we identify these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment and develop practical strategies to navigate difficult moments with more clarity and confidence. I’ve seen meaningful healing happen when people feel supported, understood, and equipped with tools that help them move toward the life they want.
