Great to meet you!

Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, your relationship, your teenager or your family, I offer both in-person and online therapy for clients throughout Indiana, with an office located in Lafayette.

For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, adolescents, families, and groups navigate life's challenges and transitions. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work in 1998 and have continued to expand my practice through teaching, public speaking and community involvement. Since 2020, I have taught Pastoral Care for deacon candidates in the Lafayette Catholic Diocese and in 2011, I had the incredible opportunity to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

I believe healing happens when we take time for meaningful silence and allow ourselves to be truly seen, heard, and understood. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and holistic, focusing on the well-being of the whole person: body, mind, heart, and soul. Together, we work to foster healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach considers the physical, emotional, psychological, relational, and spiritual aspects of the human person, helping one move toward greater wholeness and well-being.

I specialize in integrating Christian and Catholic spirituality with evidence-based counseling approaches, especially Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS helps individuals understand and compassionately engage the different parts of themselves, promoting healing, resilience, self-leadership, and a deeper connection with God and others.

Whether you are navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, adolescent challenges, personal growth, or life's transitions, I provide a supportive and trauma-informed space where healing can occur. Spirituality may be incorporated into our work together when it aligns with your goals and values.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and vulnerable. In our first session, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you are invited to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable to you. We will discuss the concerns that have brought you to counseling, explore relevant aspects of your background, and identify your goals for therapy. Rather than diving deeply into every detail, our initial meeting is focused on establishing trust, understanding your needs, and creating a foundation for meaningful work together.
