Kelli Hood is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, as well as a National Certified Counselor. Kelli earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Centre College in 2000 and went on to complete a master’s degree in counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She brings over twenty years of experience in the fields of mental health and substance use disorders from a variety of settings working with adults and adolescents.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Kelli works with individuals 16 and older with various concerns including anxiety, stress management, mood, substance use, grief, trauma, stage of life issues, and relationship concerns. She incorporates evidence-based practices and interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered approach, as well as a faith-based Christian approach when desired by clients.

Life can bring challenges. Depending on where we are in life, those challenges may seem unmanageable. I want to walk with you on your journey to navigate those challenges in a way that is supportive, and helps you to figure out the next leg of your journey. I want to use compassion to empower clients on their journey toward healing and growth.
