Great to meet you!

You might be carrying something you've never quite had words for—the weight of trauma, the exhaustion of a season that asked more than you had to give, or the quiet ache of starting over in a life that looks different than you planned. Whether you're a military spouse, first responder, fellow therapist, parent under pressure, or a woman navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, or a difficult life transition, you've found someone who understands the unique demands of caring for others while trying to hold yourself together.

As a retired Navy spouse and mom of four, I've lived the realities of military life—the frequent moves, the solo parenting, and the expectation to stay resilient even when you're running on empty. I also understand that first responders and mental health professionals often carry the weight of other people's pain while feeling like they have nowhere to set down their own. I'm Kelli, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients throughout Louisiana and South Carolina.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and collaborative, rooted in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT, evidence-based methods that help your nervous system process what it's been holding, not just talk about it. We work at your pace, and I follow your lead. For clients who want it, I also offer Christian faith integration: prayer, scripture, and spiritual encouragement woven into our work in a way that feels meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a checklist. I'll ask what brought you here, what you've tried, and what healing could look like for you. There's no pressure to share everything at once. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of what working together could look like. Most people leave that first session feeling a little lighter.
