Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Kellie, and if you’re reading this sentence then I believe you have just begun one of the most important journeys of your life. I am a Christian therapist specializing in teens and young adults (20-30) struggling with anxiety, depression, and all the who-am-I questions that accompany growing up and becoming who they want to be. I have walked alongside teens and young adults for 13 years in both their heartaches and healing. I have an ever-growing passion to help them see beyond the pain of their circumstances and pursue the coping skills that help to make life more manageable.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based practices to improve individual and relational functioning. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based with a strong relational style. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which basically means I target the inner thought life/beliefs and explore how they impact behavior.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a friendly, inviting environment intentionally meant for conversation to feel easy. We will discuss both the "what" of what is bringing you to therapy and the "who" of who you are outside of your current conflict. Both are important to me!
